The Pearl OPTA1112C Aluminum Chrome OptiMount for Drums 11"-12" Deep attaches to the tom’s tension rods and floats on rubber cushions, which provide the ultimate stability while allowing the drum to resonate fully. With OptiMount, the mounting hardware is completely removed from the drum shell, providing a drastic improvement in resonance and sustain. The Aluminum Chrome OptiMounts are for drums 6”-16” in diameter and are made from lightweight aluminum.
